Selvedge Textile Magazine Feeds The Birds

Selvedge Magazine celebrated the London Design Festival on september 18th by remaking

an iconic city landmark at the V&A. Ken Livingstone my have tried to ban the pigeons,

but Selvedge wanted to cover their own Trafalgar Square

(created by illustrator Alice Stevenson) with hundreds of soft stitched feathered friends,

designed by printers Thornback & Peel.

What a great way to celebrate and good to see there were some boy birds helping out too!
