January Skies.

Has anyone else been noticing the beautiful skies we’ve been fortunate to gaze upon
during this month of January ? Here’s a couple when I’ve had my camera on hand.
Keep an eye open around 4 or 5 o clock to spot some beauties !

Wow……u lucky pup……I in our works shed at that time……no windows in there. Saw an amazing moonlit one the other night….sorry no pics ….ain’t got a fab camera like yours peep.
Lol, I keep telling you my camera cost £80, it’s no great shakes, but just a decent lens. Moonlit skies are lovely too but harder to capture.

My dad who had been in the Navy would say this about red skies: “Red sky in the morning, sailors warning, red sky at night, sailor’s delight”. I don’t know if that is the whole thing or not, but it must have originated from the Navy.
