Lyme Park setting for Pride and Prejudice

September 27, 2010

Photographer Unknown

Yesterday I went to Lyme Park, in Disley, Cheshire. It’s a beautiful property of the National Trust,

set in 15 acres with formal gardens and deer park and the setting for the  (now infamous)

‘Pride and Prejudice’ film with Colin Firth.

Hers are some images from the day.

The first pic isn’t mine unfortunately, as I didn’t get to go round all the gardens on this trip and therefore missed this view. I will go again as it’s a great place on our doorstep. Thanks for the comments.
