I’ve been hooked on these Modern Publicity anthologies. Here’s some excerpts from way back in 1957/58, such classic illustrations.

Clever dog, he not only bookmarks your place but also holds the book for you ! I think Toff-o-Luxe had turned into Toffos by the early seventies.

Love!!! The guy at the beach with the sprouts of hair is pretty cute! Where did you find this amazing book? Was it published by an ad company?

Thanks for your comments, Isn’t it great, I now have a few of them and will be covering work from them all that catches my eye. It’s published by The Studio Limited in London and The Studio Publications in New York. Described as the Art and Industry Annual of International Advertising Art, and features work from 27 countries. Just the kind of book that makes me smile a lot !
