Happy midweek everyone. Continuing this weeks theme of Books, I’ve replaced the Mid Week Mix with a collection of Vintage Book Covers that I’ve been amassing. I hope nobody minds too much : )  Let’s begin with a few mid century foreign titles.

Does anyone remember reading any of these titles when they were young ? I hope they might inspire some wonderful old memories. Do let me know.

Did anyone spot the covers by Alice and Martin Provensen, Leonard Weisgard and Edward Bawden ? Full marks if you did.

First off I love your blog! Second, that brimax bath time book flashed me back to my childhood. I am now on eBay searching for a copy. I remember loving those illustrations as a kid. Thanks.

Vintage book covers seem to make the books even more appealing… who won’t wish to have his hands over one or two of these fascinating books. Especially the travel covers allure me the most. It is amazing to see classic book covers being reclaimed… seems like going back in time to the childhood days ☺ ☺

Thanks for your thoughts and I quite agree. In this instance, we can judge a book by it’s cover : )
